OVERVIEW
The Mission of Black Health Connect is to create and curate a digital and physical hub for Black Healthcare Professionals. We aim to foster an interdisciplinary and intergenerational network of aspiring and practicing health professionals, executives, and healthcare organizations with the common goals of career advancement, advocating for increased diversity in healthcare, and improving health equity. We aim to accomplish these goals through our four pillars:
CONNECT
We aim to continue to foster connections amongst our members via events, virtual programming, social media content, and soon to be launched a private membership site
AMPLIFY
We aim to identify, acknowledge and support leaders, and innovators within our community. Helping to amplify what they are doing with the use of the greater network and our collective resources.
REPRESENT
We aim to identify, analyze, and address systemic issues and obstacles affecting our members’ careers and their patients’ outcomes
EDUCATE
We aim to provide our collective with the resources and opportunities that will further their personal and professional success through programming and strategic partnerships
