Vice President of Strategy | University of Florida Health System | Gainesville, FL
Jonathan Waller is the Vice President of Strategy at UF Health, where he leads enterprise-wide strategic planning, growth, and transformation across multiple markets.
He built the system’s enterprise strategy infrastructure, aligning market growth, physician relations, and business development into an integrated model that supports UF Health’s long-term vision.
The Journey
Waller’s path into healthcare was shaped by mentorship.
Originally interested in urban planning, he was drawn to the systems that influence how people live and thrive. A classmate introduced him to healthcare administration, and that curiosity led him to Andrea Price, a mentor who encouraged him and invested in his early development.
