Privacy Policy

Last updated July 6, 2026.

Black Health Connect ("BHC," "we," "us") builds digital and physical spaces for healthcare professionals. We keep this policy plain and honest: we collect only what we need to run our community, and we do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Analytics. Our website uses Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 to understand how pages are used. These tools set cookies and collect standard device and usage data such as pages visited, referring links, and approximate location.
  • Newsletter emails. When you subscribe or contact us, we store the name and email address you provide.
  • RSVP data. When you register for an event, we collect the details needed to check you in and follow up, such as your name, email, and profession.
  • Cell phone for SMS. We collect a mobile number only when you explicitly opt in to text updates. You can reply STOP at any time to end messages.
  • Join Our Community sign-up. When you join the list we ask for your first name, email, mobile number, and ZIP code, plus a separate checkbox if you want texts. The ZIP is matched to the closest BHC market using public postal-code data (© GeoNames, CC BY 4.0). We record the consent wording you saw, when you agreed, and a hashed (never raw) IP address, and we only text you after you confirm by replying Y. Reply STOP at any time.

How we use it

We use this information to send event invitations and community updates, to run and improve our events and website, to measure the reach of our programs, and to respond to your questions. We share data only with the service providers that help us operate (for example, our email, analytics, and SMS platforms), and only as needed to provide those services.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, reply STOP to end SMS, and adjust cookie settings in your browser. To request access to or removal of your personal information, contact us and we will act on your request promptly.
